Score Converter
Convert Deluge songs to MusicXML. Open in MuseScore or other notation app.
How it works & limitations
- Like Song Preview, this an experimental feature originally intended to make it easier to know which song is which on the Deluge SD card. (It actually came before Song Preview.)
- It's been tested with MuseScore. It presumably works with Finale, Sibelius, et al, but paid software is not currently available for testing.
- It works best on songs with arrangements; a best-effort attempt is made to convert clip-only tracks.
- All tracks will default to a piano sound except percussions, which will use a basic click sound.
- You will see some crazy amounts of ledger lines and other weird notation choices. If you're looking for an "Official Score" for your piece, this will get you started, but expect to have cleanup work to do.
How it works
Drop a .XML song file from your Deluge SD card. The tool parses the arrangement view — clip instances, note data, instruments — and generates MusicXML with proper time signatures, key signatures, and tuplet notation.
What you need
A song file saved in arrangement view. Songs saved only in clip/session view don't have a timeline to convert. The file is the .XML in your SONGS folder on the SD card.
Privacy
Your file is processed entirely in-browser using Python compiled to WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. First load downloads the runtime (~15MB, cached after that).
